#49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk says he won't be filing for reinstatement because he doesn't want to do business with the team.

Under this scenario, the 49ers can leave him on the "Left Squad List." He would remain on the team, but wouldn't count against the roster or receive any pay. pic.twitter.com/gz0ptaDRcq

Love to see it. If he had an issue with the guarantees being voided why not appeal it? Dudes arguments are as solid as toilet paper in a portajohn.

Imagine being this upset at someone after giving them a $30 million dollar contract for nothing .

Probably because it took Aiuyk until November to understand his guarantees were gone. He still didn't get it in July. What a turd this guy is.

Going on his own without an agent is going so well for him. It's like representing yourself in court and saying, "You're danged right I shot that guy! He cut me off at the intersection! It's my constitutional right as an American!"
The sad part is it still reminds me as an Ohio State fan of Maurice Clarrett, the great freshman running back in 2002 who was probably the biggest reason along with their defense and timely play making at quarterback that they win the national championship that year. Very next year he's distanced himself from the team, the University. Everyone could see how dumb and irrational he was being except him. Then he eventually went to prison.
By the grace of God and Jim Tressel he turned his life around. But Brandon in this age of more social media is managing to be an even bigger public idiot.

Hence why I maintain that what we're watching from this young man is a clear mental break. I know many here don't like when I say that, but it's true. I'm not trying to excuse his behavior, just trying to explain it. Normal thinking human beings don't act in this fashion. We're hardwired for self-preservation. When we're acting in ways that clearly go against our own self-preservation a mental break has occurred somehow, somewhere in the head.
At this point, I think this young man is far past crash-out. He's in full mental crisis, and somebody close to him need to get their hands on him, real soon.

yeah he's mentally unwell, and i guarantee you knowing the quality of our men in the locker room we have gone above and beyond to get him the help he needs, and i'm sure he has family and friend concerned but at the end of the day you simply cannot help someone who is unwilling

the reality is we see the aldon situation and this is different but similar, just a guy out of his dang mind, what a shame

I'd like to see it burried and move on. We are about a month away from preseason. Time to move on with the possitives and bury this. Let him be someone elses problem. It was interesting off-season humor but now we are close to camp and preseason. The humor is over. Bury it.
